
Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar arranged Kashmir solidarity day function in collaboration with Pakistan Thinkers Forum. Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam Director Pakistan Study Centre presided over the function while Malik Liaquat Ali Tabassum, Chairman Pakistan Thinkers Forum was the chief guest. Students from Meridian School, Hayatabad Model School, Kids School and City School presented poems, Naat, songs, tableaus and speeches. Faculty, staff and students of the Centre also attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam said that non resolution of Kashmir issue in unfinished agenda of the Partition Plan. He said that the stand of Pakistan on Kashmir is just, legal and is on high moral grounds. Malik Liaquat Ali paid rich tributes to Kashmiri freedom fighters and hoped that their sacrifices will be rewarded with liberation of Kashmir. Trophies and certificates were distributed among the participating students.
